Armaan Kirmani is a British Actor and Director based in London. He is a Cambridge Graduate who left his career in Law in order to pursue a career in Film and Theatre.

He has just completed his debut Hindi Film, Patiala House by Nikhil Advani (Kal Ho Na Ho), which is due for an International Release in February 2011. The film features veteran Indian actors Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Akshay Kumar.
He has been trained by veteran actor Anupam Kher at his institute in Mumbai and London – Actor Prepares. He has also been trained at the globally prestigious institute RADA under Director Vivian Munn in Contemporary Drama.

He is currently shooting a feature film, London Life, by debutant Director, Naveen Medaram who has previously been involved in the post production process for high budget Hollywood films such as Iron Man 2, The Dark Knight and Harry Potter.

His debut short film, as a writer and actor, can be viewed online at - shortcutthefilm.com -which was directed by English Director, Natasha Barber.

He is also natively tri-lingual as he can speak English, Hindi and Urdu with a native accent. His western upbringing mixed with my eastern routes allows his acting and directing to lend itself across the world and he has aspirations to work in Indian, British and American cinema one day.

He is currently Directing, Project Runway, written by Suniya Qureshi, in association with Caramel Models which explores the story of a young Asian girl who pursues a career in the Fashion Industry in New York. The play will be staged at the Rudolf Steiner Theatre in Central London on September 24th, 25th and 26th 2010.
