The mission of the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City is to advance and support the arts for the benefit of the Kansas City region. We accomplish this by focusing on three strategies:
• Increasing funding for the arts and cultural initiatives from diversified and sustainable sources.
• Increasing awareness of the arts and culture and the impact on quality of life issues in our community.
• Establishing the arts as integral to economic development and other key civic and business initiatives.

These goals are accomplished through various programs and services we provide to the community.
