Arturo Steele

Born in Madrid. 1983
Lives and works in Berlin.
Studied Fine Arts in Madrid (UCM) and Berlin (UdK) with Prof. Christiane Möbus.

Has worked for several artists such as Julian Rosefeldt, Jorge Queiroz, Mariana Vassileva and Tatsumi Orimoto, among others.

Awards and Scholarships:
2011. "Remix Cinema" lectures at the University of Oxford with Josep Maynou.
Audiovisual grant "Intercultural Shots" carried out by INCA/EU in Birmingham, UK.
Leonardo ADEIT Scholarship at the "Julian Rosefeldt Film Produktion".
Winner of the 27th Study Tour organized by the Japanese Embassy in Spain.
Winner of the second prize of the Photography competition "De Madrid a...", Madrid City Hall.
