Want to become a documentary filmmaker?

ARISTOTELES WORKSHOP (AW) is a training and development center fostering a new generation of documentary filmmakers in Central and Eastern Europe.

Professional training that encourages innovation and creative risk-taking is provided by preeminent leaders in the field: Rafi Pitts, Nino Kirtadze, Thierry Garrel, Jennifer Fox, Simon Brook,
Alex Szalat, Marijke Rawie, Michal Bregant, Niels Pagh Anderson, John Appel, Martichka Bozhilova and the ones who really put us on the map: Jean Rozat, General Director ARTE/France and André de Margerie, Director of International Affairs ARTE/France.

They will help the participants translate their own ideas into fresh, ground breaking documentaries.

16 participants, organized in teams of 4, will be assisted in developing a documentary from pitch to final product, then promoting their films in festivals and selling their products to television networks and other media.

AWA provides production and post production equipment and facilities, and accommodation.
