Aymar Jean Christian researches visual culture -- including web series, television, and film -- at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been published in Newsweek, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, among other publications. He runs the Film@Perelman program and lectures on film at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
