Born In Venezuela, Agatino studied Mass Communications at the Universidad Cecilio Acosta. In 1984 he made his first film in Super 8 “Domingo en la Mañana” which was presented at the Festival de Cine Super 8 in Punto Fijo. In 1994 he shot his first professional 16mm film: “El Viaje Sin Retorno de Marialma Centeno” which was in the official competition at the Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano in Havana Cuba, as well as the Cinemateca Nacional in Caracas, Venezuela. By the end of 2010 he produced “Interview Me” his first film in English, which won three awards at the Miami Life Awards Ceremony in February 2011: Best Short Film, Best Director and Best Actress for Julie Ferrer. In 2012 he released “La Mesa Esta Servida” which he wrote, produced and directed, and it was nominated for Best Director at the Miami Life Awards 2012. In the same year, released "Faun Moon", which was nominated for Best Actor (Luke Grande) at the Miami Life Awards 2013, and was premiered at the NOLA Series 2013.
