Born and raised in St. Louis, Jørgen Pedersen has always had a love of film. After creating the news network at Lindbergh High School in 2003, Jørgen directed his first student film (Pantherman). Since then, Jørgen has written and directed numerous features and shorts. In 2009, he began shooting Waking Up, a feature-length independent film (which he also wrote and co-starred in). Waking Up was accepted to the Gig Harbor Film Festival as one of its 51 films, and one of only 7 feature-length narratives. Currently, he’s getting his latest film into more festivals, pushing his production company (Bare Bear Productions) further down creative avenues and working on several film-related projects.
