Bartosz Nalazek studied photography at the Warsaw School of Photography then cinematography at the Polish National Film School in Lodz and was a scholar of the prestigious Budapest Cinematography Masterclass. He assisted worldwide famous cinematographer Janusz Kaminski on feature films "War Horse" and "Lincoln" both directed by Steven Spielberg then "The Judge" directed by David Dobkin. Cinematographer of numerous short fiction films, documentary films, music videos and commercials. In 2013 debuted as Director of Photography for two independent feature films "The Purple Onion" and "I'm Obsessed with You: But You've Got to Leave Me Alone" shot in San Francisco and New York. "Making a Scene" was a project he shot for New York Times Magazine directed by Janusz Kaminski including big-screen actors such as Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, Bradley Cooper, Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey and others.
Bartosz is a light designer and video artist for over a dozen of theater plays. He worked with renown polish theater directors such as Krystian Lupa, Krzysztof Garbaczewski, Maja Kleczewska, Agnieszka Olsten, Lukasz Twarkowski in most of the best theaters in Poland.
