Basho brings new languages to life with innovative and upbeat music. Spanish. English. French. Mandarin. Kids and parents around the world are laughing, learning, and busting a move to his songs.

a bit about basho
Basho is a musician, storyteller, and educator dedicated to helping kids learn about new languages and cultures. A certified bilingual teacher, Basho has worked with children for over 15 years, including teaching kindergarten and managing an after school arts program.

Basho is also passionate about the power of film in social change movements. He has produced documentaries ranging in content from Sudanese refugee programs in Ethiopia to an adult learn-to-swim class at Columbia University. Most recently he has shot for Point Made Films, ABC News, and NBC News and worked as a media consultant for Kiva.org and Peekadoodle Kids Club. Basho works as the program manager for the Flip Video Spotlight program—a charitable initiative to help non-profits use video to change the world.
