I am a composer of audio-visual artworks. My formal training is as a music composer + researcher + programmer (Oberlin College + University of Washington, Seattle), with emphasis on computer music and algorithmic techniques. I fed myself for many years as a graphic and web designer. So I bring those domains together, using custom software and generative techniques to create hybrid sound and image evocations of distinctive ways of being in the world. I am a Senior Lecturer in the Music, Technology and Innovation Research Centre at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK.
