Di-ay Battad (a.k.a. Brenda Battad) is a Pittsburgh-based artist working in video, sound, text, and textiles. She received her BFA in studio art from Carnegie Mellon University with a concentration in electronic and time-based media. Through appropriation, animation, and performance, Di-ay's work explores the tendencies of human, cultural, and digital memory in constructed past, present, and future experiences. Di-ay has performed and exhibited locally and internationally.
