Bubbz & The Black Notez consists of front man Bubbz, a rapper and producer who's been making sonic waves in and around the Bristol and London music scene for a while now, along the way having the tag of the UK's answer to Kanye West plastered on him by the NME.A tag he carried well proving himself worthy, but a tag that this consummate performer in his own right, has thankfully shed through his arresting and charismatic performances.

At his side and manning the sonic control stations stands Ghettozoid a London and Berlin based dub step producer and self-confessed 'Replicant',also known for her female booty based collective Octopussy and more recently work on her one4ho label.

Lastly the final member, Drummer Chelsea ''Jada'' Eldridge, a young drummer from Crouch End London, who even in the most conservative of terms one would have to describe as feisty. With her an 'I don't take any shit' look in her eyes,but cute with it. An impression re-enforced with her fierce but tight style.

In this musical melee Bubbz & The Black Notez have summonsed a diverse mix of styles in creating there musical brand. Dub, Electro, Afro Beat and Hip Hop have all been mashed up to conjure a style that has been described by some as ''a kinda of rap that is danceable, a bit grimy and at the same time backed up by minimalist tracks with a heavy electronic aesthetic''. A fair attempt we think, to describe a music that blends so much and treads so well the fine boarder lines of UK urban music, yet remains distinct in its own character and punchyness, occupying a place in music owned by none but accessible to all.
