isn't this filter really meant for adapting 16:9 into a 4:3 image sensor?
I am very confused about how this worked, unless you linked to the wrong adapter.
as I understand it the footage was at 1920x1080, and you basically either stretched it wider to 2.35:1 in post, or squished it down. -
