Ben Ivory

BEN IVORY is a heARTist, he surfs through virtual, visual and audible spaces leaving all boundaries behind. His grandmother, a highly talented pianist and one of Brecht’s closest friends gave him the cornerstones of creativity and taught him how to build his artistic house. At an early age he begins interfacing written words with music, he writes poems, wins awards, sings in famous choirs, discovers his passion for photography and win awards again. Many years and many experiences later, he meets a young designer named Kilian Kerner and shoots one of his first collections. Kerner, thrilled by Ivory’s aura and creativity asks him and his band SplinterX to compose and perform songs as a personal soundtrack for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Ivory accepts the invitation and over night he becomes the intersection between music, fashion and attitude, dubbed by the Financial Times Germany as „best Music-Fashion-Act“. Ben Ivory is a reflection, the reanimation of Iconology and maybe the BOWIE of a new generation.

Working on his first solo-album, Ivory continues to surf between all niches of art, preparing to land with an album full of undistorted but still elegiac melodies brought from another world.
