Berwick Upon Tweed Film & Media Arts Festival

Following the huge success of last September’s event, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival returns for its eighth annual celebration of the art of film – illuminating the whole town through premiere screenings, interactive installations and specially commissioned projections.

Pictures in Motion -
This year’s festival explores the relationship between the still image and the moving image, and showcasing artists who have crossed over from photography to filmmaking - and looking, as always, at where the boundaries blur.

What’s On -
Using Berwick itself as a set, the Festival programme – including an exciting line-up of film screenings, live events, the youth programme, and the artist trail – will spill out of The Maltings and into various heritage locations across the town.
