Beth Schneider has written, produced and directed seven short films exploring spiritual transformation and evolving consciousness. She has earned 9 international awards including three first place for her children’s film, “The Magic Within”, and her creative movement video, “Dance With Us”, has been used in schools throughout the United States, inspiring growth and creativity through the mind-body connection.
A diversified artist, Beth’s musical performance project, Beth the Sybil; A Mystical Rock Odyssey, with original songs and dance inspired by ancient melodies and love poems from all around the Mediterranean, has been hailed "profound and enchanting". Her accompanying CD, My King Nimrod, was reviewed as, "a treat for history buffs, classical music aficionados and those of us rock geeks that like something different". In addition to her original work, Beth has performed in and choreographed over thirty stage productions, including Die Fledermaus, Orpheus in the Underworld, Evita, West Side Story, Fiddler on The Roof, as well as seven seasons of concert ballet.
Beth teaches modern ballet at Agape International Spiritual Center and is a resident choreographer for Movement of Agape Dance Ensemble. As a teacher of yoga and ballet over the last 25 years and dedicated to spiritual study and practice, Beth has created her own integrated movement training program; "Yoga-Dance Spiritual Fitness – The Ultimate Mind-Body Practice".
Beth’s mission is to participate in creating a world of expanding consciousness through film, dance and music. Her family lineage includes her Grandfather Abe Schneider, Columbia Pictures CEO, her Father Stanley Schneider, Columbia Pictures President and producer of Three Days of the Condor, and Uncles Bert and Harold Schneider, film producers.
