The Big Apple Coffee Party consists of grassroots activists who live in New York City and are committed to civil discourse, acting independently of political parties,corporations, and political lobbying networks.

As a group of concerned and informed citizens, we demand a government that responds to the needs of the majority of its citizens as expressed by our votes and by our voices—not by corporate interests expressed in misleading advertisements and enormous campaign contributions.

We want a society in which democracy is treated as sacrosanct and ordinary citizens participate out of a sense of civic duty, civic pride, and a desire to contribute to society.

The Big Apple Coffee Party meet regularly twice a month to discuss and advance common goals shared by its members.
