Bishop Walker is a native of Washington, D.C. where he received his early education in the District of Columbia's public school system. He is a graduate of Jericho Christian Training College and of the Spirit of Truth Institute where he received his Doctor of Divinity degree. Bishop R.S Walker is spiritually covered by and accountable to Bishop/Apostle Ralph L. Dennis of Kingdom Worship Center in Townsend, Maryland, who is the spiritual son of Dr Mark Hanby. God has so blessed Bishop Walker with versatile instructors, mentors and a spiritual father, who have collectively developed him into the well-balanced and well-grounded teaching prophet of God as you will experience through his faith teaching and prophetic ministry. In addition to his many assignments, he is the founder and Senior Pastor of Heritage Church International (HCI), formerly known and established as God Is In Control Church in 1990.
Biahop Walker also serves as the General Overseer of Another Touch of Glory Ministries (ATOGM) and covers a number of nationally and internationally churches, which does not exclude other para-church ministries and businesses within the United States. In addition, Bishop R S Walker founded Another Touch of Glory (ATOG) School of The Prophets, which has now gone into much of the United States. Bishop Walker has an eye for global impact and endeavors to have a presence in every state and country through ATOG School of the Prophets. One of his dearest accomplishments is that of being a devoted husband to his lovely wife, Elder Betty Walker, and a loving father to his eleven wonderful children.
