Colin Cramb emigrated from Australia where he was the Head of the Arts Faculty and Head of Drama at Redlands College, Brisbane. He was the Director of the Centre for Distinction in Drama, Brisbane. He has trained, taught, lectured and has working experience as an actor, director, Playwrite, Screenplay writer, television presenter, radio announcer, radio manager, lighting for stage and film, sound for stage and film, set design for stage and film, auditioning for stage and screen, teacher of multi-media and related software.
Colin has written, produced, directed and acted in stage plays, was the founding Director of OMP Theatre Company, Brisbane and is a music composer having written songs for bands, soundtracks, lyricists and musicals.
He has lectured in Drama, Communication and Body Language in Further Education and University levels as well as teaching Drama, Media, Body Language, Life Skills, Film Acting, TV Presenting, Directing, and Sound and Lighting in Middle and Secondary schools and colleges in Brisbane.
He has owned his own music studio and advertising business in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. For many years, he has been teaching all ages how to achieve their individual potential and the best practices for developing as actors for stage and screen. He uses the latest methods for teaching and all classes are based on practical learning through active participation.
Colin trained with NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) in Film Acting and Television Presenting. He also trained in Directing and Stage Acting at Griffith University as part of an educational qualification.
Colin has taught all levels of Media and the Advanced Diploma Creative and Media since coming to the UK. He has lectured in Technical Theatre and Drama at a Further Education College, as well as shooting documentaries, corporate web videos and offering quality videos to schools, businesses and the community.
He is involved with producing film and video media, training of actors and establishing outlets and distribution for media productions.
