blanktape is an online exhibition space specialized in cinema, animation and other kinds of video. Developed as a virtual bunker, the site holds monthly exhibitions that gathers projects and pieces of work of artists from a great range of areas.

Although audiovisual is the main focus, we take it in a hybrid, interdisciplinary way. Planning on elaborating such reflection, we research stimulus that are beyond the borders of Tv or projectors, as in photography, painting, illustration, performance, dance, music, sound art, web art, software and design. Therefore, the goal is to spread artistic manifestations in any kind of media, that are able to multiply the meanings of the proposed themes, especially to the contemporary issues.
