Science: it's where facts are born. But it's more than people wearing lab coats. Sometimes, there are test tubes. And sometimes the beauty and drama of science is captured in video form and submitted to the Imagine Science Film Festival (ISFF), a celebration of the dogged creativity that leads to great science. That time, fellow Nerdingtons, is now.

The festival is accepting submissions through September 30th, and any science-focused video – whether documentary or work of fiction in which a scientist is the main character — is eligible. Now in its 5th year, the festival looks for films that effectively incorporate science into narrative filmmaking, check it out:

We've been ISFF sponsors for several years now and it's been super exciting to see the quality of submissions go up and up every year. This year's ISFF dedicates part its focus to the BRAIN! Maybe you have a video that explores the depths of consciousness or unravels the twists of the cerebral cortex. Why not throw your hat-molecules into the benzene ring and submit your video today. Our hypothesis is brilliance; don't prove us empirically wrong. Or do, because that's how science works.

One could argue that facts already exist, whether they've been "discovered" or not.

Indeed we could debate the foundations of truth in both ontological and epistemological sources! I for one welcome a lively discourse

Ha, yes.

But let's not mix truth and fact. They are entirely different!

"Once Upon a Time" there was a being, so small, "once this being went so great", that it was becoming the monster in itself; but, nevertheless, lit was a nice experience for me, living on this planet. I hope it was for you an even event evening ever forever even..

Dont think my films cover that particular genre. Unless a terrifying ghost hunt gone wrong counts...
