Staff Blog / New Avatar Features

Thanks to sox and Kevin Sheurs, interacting with other users just got a lot easier! Clicking any "avatar" aka user portrait will bring up a menu of actions you can take regarding that user.

Using this menu will make it faster to add contacts, subscribe to videos, and send messages. Here's a picture of what it looks like:

without having read this first, I was confused - but I don't see a way around it - it's superior... just takes adaptation :)

oh and something I noticed who is maybe a choice. When we are in a channel, clicking on a avatar doesn't open that box. It was before, so just pointing out. Again I like this version better where you can jump directly to what you need.

yea there are a couple of cases where we couldnt show that box because it would overlap the flash player, which caused problems. i think this is what you are referring to.
