I think I'm gonna stay all night in front of Vimeo Pulse...
well done!
1) I'd like to see an option in "Group" configuration that porvides the choice of leaving it wide open for all Vimeo users (or) Private, meaning just the founder or moderators of a specific group can add or remove participants.
And #2, forum threads should have branching capability - but a secondary requirement, after #1.
I don't know what you mean by #2, but the best place to make feature suggestions is in the Features Requests forum.
It's a pity that none of the uploaded video's on pulse are visible. (Due to them not entirely being uploaded/encoded.)
Maybe the upload-pulse should be shown when the video is actually visible?
The same thing happens in Vimeoland as well.
After all, the moment conversion is done is the actual ("real time" ?) moment that the video is available on Vimeo. At least, that's when I go: "Woohoo, let's see what it looks like vimeo-style! Let's send the link to friend X and Y!!".
How about a stats tool like that other video website has.
"hindsight" or something like that.
Toyss.
vimeoland is very cute but I'm not sure it's good for data visualization
Thx . . . I love it!
If any of you has the debug version of the Flash Player, you can see it for yourself:
1. cristalab.com/tips/60164/animacion-de-personajes-en-flash.html
2. cvander.com/
It seems to happen just for the new videos. Not on the older videos.
Which by the way I thumbed through a Web Video book at Barnes & Noble today, and out of the 15-20 sites they recommend for sharing video online, Vimeo was not one of them. I knew the book was a joke after that.
A bit of a rant. Sorry 'bout that. Anyway. Great work!
Also, I couldn't get it to display just my stuff because I'm simply embedding it, you'd have to alter the Flash file itself for it to just be my stuff.
Good luck!
that look like pulse "toy", make it alive ?
