Brave founder Beth Cramer is a master of melding powerful, emotionally driven experiences into her editing and directing work. Her portfolio spans numerous styles, including dialogue, visual storytelling, and music-driven imagery.
Best known for her evocative fashion/beauty and narrative commercials, Cramer has collaborated with some of the world's leading creative agencies, as well as with top industry talent. She has worked with such notable firms as Wieden+Kennedy, Y&R, Euro RSCG, Grey Worldwide, Draftfcb and JWT, among others, and has partnered with top commercial directors Marcus Nispel, Gerard de Thame, Jeff Gorman, Bob Giraldi and Phil Morrison. Her highly recognizable commercial editing work includes campaigns for Keri, Dove, Olay, Victoria’s Secret, Clairol, Avon, Levi’s, Fidelity, Sprint, Chase, ESPN and MTA.
While her primary focus has been on commercial advertising, Cramer's portfolio also includes work in documentary film, short film, emerging media, and music videos. Cramer's documentaries Plan B, Single Women Choosing Motherhood (2007) and Days of Heaven, Days of Hell (2003) are particularly well-regarded, as are her videos for recording artists Dean Jones and Dog on Fleas.
Cramer launched her production career at Red Car, where she spent more than 10 years as principal editor. She is certified with the Women’s Business Enterprise and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Ithaca College.
