No, it's cool you tell us because I've done this tutorial but wasn't sure if that was exactly your technique. Still an awesome shoot though dude. It rocks. thanks for sharing.

Dude. You didn't create it. You pirated it. The vision was created by artists; you're just playing with yourself. Literally.

Hi Adam. I can't see a problem. The X1 shoots @ 1080p @ 25 fps. (OR 24). Broadcast television doesn't even scratch that surface. Just take a look at the news. We work with FCP which has an AMAZING output. As for Discovery, I shot a series called the Aquanauts on old Sony and Panasonic Video 8 cameras, then bumped it up to tape. If I were you, I'd do it all in FCP and then hire a digital SP recorder and dump it out with a techi to check bars and tones. I mean; they put Deadliest Catch to air on Discovery and that's shot with 21 Z1P's washed in salt water. And the pictures look a shit load better on screen than they do on the web. As for the adaptor; it pumps out better pictures than the Networks do for their soaps. And if it rates, these sharks don't care whether you deliver it on mini DV or a thumb drive.

Thanks Markis. I just got all confused. So much static flying around and because it was all happening on my page, I took it personally. I do love your country. I spent about ten years there and I think you guys have taken a real mugging in recent years. Australia and Australians always see Americans as mates. As for the old Turks, well, we still haven't got over Gallipoli but it was there beach. No surf though. Stay safe and again, I'm sorry.

Yep; set a PP to a Matrix level of 99. Crush the blacks down to about -30; start at 8 fps and then go to ESS and work from 16 up to 64. Shoot at an interval records @ one frame a second.
