“I want this music to reach into every aspect of the listeners’ life,” says Owens. “ I want to encourage them to experience life with everything that makes them who they have come to be --while at the same time re-discovering who they really are meant to be.”

“After years of searching to discover the elements that would make up a well rounded and meaningful project, we have succeeded,” states Owens. “Whether it goes anywhere or not, the album that we are going to produce will be the truest expression of what I have found in this music journey.”

Owens has surrounded himself with a group of musicians whose resumes are impressive in and of themselves. Mark Colenburg, Shaun Robinson, Alvin Quinn and Jessie Gannon make up the heart of Owens’ touring band, Martha Mae, affectionately named after the grandmother of Brian’s wife. “She is the most loving and hospitable person I know,” he explains “And she loves music! She loves to sing and doesn’t care who hears it. And she makes the best greens and dressing ever!”
