Brian Burnett has been with the Pearson Foundation since 2006 and is a member of the Next Generation Learning Program team. Brian's work is primarily focused on managing and delivering project-based programs integrating literacy skills and technology into educational settings. He co-leads the Model Classroom Program that was developed with the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) Teacher of the Year program. The Model Classroom aims to create exemplars of promising classroom practices. Brian is based in New York City and travels around the country supporting CCSSO Teacher of the Year educators. As a seasoned teaching and learning professional in both corporate and non-profit organizations, he has acquired a wide array of skills and expertise as a successful project manager, educator, education technology specialist, and video producer. He has a great deal of experience working with both adult learners and youth.
