From working as a field producer for national television's Animal Planet and National Geographic to starting his own successful production company in San Francisco and writing treatments, working on films, and pitching promos in Italy, Barry Walton has kept his goals high and his objectives manageable. Starting his career in Los Angeles he worked on films, music videos, & commercials cutting his teeth on big budget projects such as; The Fast and the Furious, Coyote Ugly, and Will Smith's Willenium. Migrating north to San Francisco in 2006, he worked in national television for National Geographic & Animal Planet producing and traveling throughout the US before moving to Italy in 2009 and working on independent films at Cine Citta in Rome and throughout Italy, documentaries in northern Italy, and now filming THE HIGH in the Himalayas of India. Now back in the US living in New York, Barry continues to develop as a producer/director. Working on a variety of projects and moving fluidly through countries and cultures. Continuing to stretching the boundaries of his work he aims to produce the best in film and television documentaries for viewers and makers alike.
