    Hello. I made a slider very similar to yours, including using the clamping plates for the belts (I basically copied you). My question to you is with getting NO slack in the belt. If I pull very hard on the belt then screw down the clamp plate with the belt in it, I still have a bit of slack (Not sure if it matters that much). But I do notice the Dynamic Perception system has moveable clamping plates to fine tune the slack.

    How do you deal with the belt Slack?

    I wast thinking of using a router and lengthening the holes in the belt clamp a bit, then I can physically move the belt clamps before I tighten them down.
