Who we are:
We believe that teenagers are important and that the Mountains and Rivers are necessary. We value respect for oneself as well as others, personal growth, healthy relationships, and community. The mentors are all volunteers from the community who care about people and love getting outside.
Who and how we help:
We provide high school-aged, 'at-risk' youth with the opportunity for empowerment through outdoor activities such as snowboarding, skiing, rock climbing, and white water rafting. In addition we host life skills workshops. Its a choice-based program.
We do this to give the youth with whom we work a sense of potential, purpose, and self respect in order to create empowered individuals and a better community.
And... WE DO IT ALL FOR FREE!
Support from the community and contributers from all over allows us to get these kids out-and-about to experience things they would never have the opportunity to otherwise. THANK YOU for helping!
