The Centre for Agrarian History (Centrum Agrarische Geschiedenis - CAG) is a non-profit interdisciplinary research centre, created in 2001.

The Centre for Agrarian History studies and analyzes the history of agriculture and food in the 19th and 20th centuries, in a national and international context:

It joins experts from different academic fields such as history, sociology, geography, (agricultural) economics and landscape analysis.
It is an independant information point for all initiatives regarding the preservation, upgrading and accessibility of our agricultural and gastronomical heritage, landscape development and conservation.
It wishes to inform, educate and entertain as widely as possible.
The Centre for Agrarian History is being supported by the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), Cera, Boerenbond, VLAM and the Flemish Community.
