x I like long one-take sequences, meticulous set design, evocative music, and cadential editing. I want it to be real. I want to believe everything; build imaginative worlds and scour them for feelings no one has ever felt before. Feeling is everything. We often forget what we see, or what we hear, or what we’re told, but we never forget how something made us feel. If you can capture a feeling rare and unique, people will never forget it. It will have become real.
