As you have probably gathered, I have a bit of a 'thing' about the helm. We get a lot of westerlies, interesting in their own right, but the east wind is special because it blows towards my workshop window and puts on a great show.

this is very well done, i grew up in christchurch new zealand where we got hot dry nor'easters due to the airstream warming more as it descended over the southern alps due to the fohn effect
