    Philip, it's a good low cost, portable option. I find that it slides best when the center of gravity is low. When using it with a taller tripod head it becomes even more important to keep the center of gravity over the slider - and to keep the slide hand on the base of the slider head in order to get a smooth slide.

    HI Manuel. I'll get you the steadicam recipe for the 7D & Sigma 20mm after thanksgiving. I don't have the information or the steadicam with me at this time. I do know that it's very similar to the settings for the 24-105mm, but not exact.

    Hi David. I don't recall exactly, but with the shutter speed staying at 1/60th, the aperture was most likely in the f/16 range, since it was quite bright out.
