CANDIDATE23 Are an Indie Pop band formed in North West, England. The band is made up of Will Hayes (Lead Vocals), Alex McIntyre (Lead Guitar), Andy Perrin (Rhythm Guitar), Jonathan Tringham (Drums) and Ryan Dennett (Bass Guitar).
The band are managed by o9 Management.

Sharing stages with bands such as Funeral For a Friend and The King Blues, CANDIDATE23 have been hailed as "More than just the next bunch of indie clones" and achieved the number 10 spot in the iTunes Rock chart with their debut single 'One For You' which was also played on Radio 1.
The lads have played the main stages at HUB Festival, Warrington Festival, "Liverpool's world famous" Cavern Club, and Liverpool's O2 Academy, In May 2011 they flew to Europe to play at The Lieria Festival in Portugal.
