With over 30 years working in television I'm not what you would consider "young", although I still love what I do, which is making video programs for a wide range of clients. My career started with film editing - as in the real 16mm stuff - for news and current affairs programs in Melbourne, Australia. Over the years I started directing, writing and shooting stuff. Left broadcast TV in the early 90's to just stick with custom-made productions; it's nice to have people actually welcome you into their homes or workplaces. And every project is different - one day shooting in a mine, the next filming people with dementia or kids in kinder.
