I am a veteran television journalist and 5-time Emmy Award Winner, currently working at WPIX-TV in NYC. For nearly two decades, I have covered some of the countries biggest local and international stories. Many people also know me as a passionate interior designer specializing in high-end residential interior design, making my mark in New York City real estate as one of the top home stagers, new development experts and interior designers in the city. My interior design work is approachable and timeless. As one of a select group of interior designers in the country who are NCIDQ certified and carry the distinction ASID, my design approach is unique in that it embraces DIY enthusiasts. I believe great design should be attainable to all. In 2008, I launched DESIGN RECIPES design-recipes.com, each design recipe, offers room by room instructions and resource information for those looking to achieve beautiful designs on their own with the guidance of a professional. The newest line on my resume is Executive Producer & Host of my own television show, the real estate series NY RESIDENTIAL, which airs nationally.

My passion for interior design began at an early age while growing up in Columbia, Maryland and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I would ride my bike through my neighborhood, venturing into houses under construction, envisioning how they would look once complete. My childhood passion would follow me into adulthood especially as I entered the competitive field of broadcast journalism. I have been an on-air television newscaster since my senior year of college at The University of Southern California. Frustrated by my own design challenges and limited budget, I spent many weekends in thrift stores, shopping for bargain fabrics and trimming remnants and because I didn’t know how to sew, I would glue and stitch pillows and shower curtains by hand. The look was custom, affordable and the foundation for what would later become a growing business!

While most of my clients include new home buyers, working parents and busy professionals seeking full-service interior design services, my Design On Delivery™ service is one of the most popular. An affordable option for those who can’t afford traditional designer fees, Design On Delivery™ clients enjoy a one hour on-site consultation and detailed design solution for a flat fee. Design On Delivery™ clients do not even need to live in the New York City area as Design On Delivery™ can be experienced entirely by mail or email (clients can upload pictures and floor plans, no home visit required). Design On Delivery™ is also available for events such as open houses, new development openings & retail store openings.
