Chris is a Los Angeles based cinematographer who has worked on a variety of projects all over the United States and abroad. He graduated cum laude from Emerson College where he majored in visual and media arts with a concentration in film.
His first feature film, Tall as the Baobab Tree, won the Doha-Giffoni Jury Award and has screened at International Film Festival Rotterdam, BFI Longon Film Festival, and Montreal World Film Festival among others. It was shot on location in the village of Sinthiou Mbadane, Senegal and is now available on iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix through Sundance Artist Services.
Chris has been shaped by his experiences working on feature films, documentaries, commercials, music videos, and interactive web content. As a result, he has developed the ability to find creative solutions to artistic, technical, and cultural obstacles in order to achieve the high quality imagery needed for each project. He brings with him a fresh perspective complimented by a flexible shooting style and ability to deliver on time and within budget.
