I own and operate a learning adventure company beside Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba, Canada. I'm a nature, wildlife, and tourism photographer, and have a passion for communicating about climate change in ways that help people move from the abstract to specific actions that they can take.
I am also a fan of live roots, traditional and folk music. I have recently purchased a Canon Vixia HF 100 and condenser mike, and am having a lot of fun using iMovie and editing footage into manageable chunks for posting to blogs and making these videos available to others.
I see video as a powerful tool for communicating a sense of place, for sharing high quality imagery, and as a way of communicating experiences that help people to connect to place, community and the planet in ways that are fun and educational.
