Yeah the Doc says that nerves do regenerate but very slowly. It could be years, and where I need feeling the most (the outside tip) will be the last place to heal. I need it for playing guitar, which I do professionally sometimes. I can play, but not with the same dexterity and control. Lesson learned! Always take off your Tx first, then unplug the battery.

I saw a doctor yesterday and he said there is nothing to do but wait. Nerves grow at 1mm a year. Interestingly they will grow up from the cut, but also over from the opposite side of the finger. The last place to heal is the main place I need feeling, on the outside tip, bu the nail. That's where I press guitar strings down. I'm sorry Adam, what happened in your accident again? Was a finger numb too?
