He is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association, and holds an MFA from the University of Washington Professional Actor Training Program.

He is currently in pre-production for 'Equity', a short film he wrote and will also be directing. Shooting will commence mid-June 2011, and fundraising is currently underway at indiegogo.com/equitythemovie. His most recent film, FML, premiered at the Producers' Club in NYC on April 29th, and was selected to screen again at the SAG Foundation Short Film Showcase on May 26th.
His most recent feature film ‘The Triumph of William Henry Harrison’ (with Ed Asner) screened at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival on October 28th where it won Best Mock-umentary, after already enjoying screenings at the NJ International Film Festival and IndieFest '09 in Anaheim, CA (where it picked up the Sponsors' Choice Award).

After recently finishing his training at the Upright Citizens' Brigade theatre in New York City, he helped found the independent improv group 'Shelbow', which will be performing in Mid-April in the Finals of the Improv competition, 'The Prestige' at Stand-Up NY Comedy Club in Manhattan.

Chance's New York Theatre credits include ‘The Most Lamentable and Tragical Historie of the Barber Surgeons’ with Studio 42 at Playwrights Horizons; ‘Offending the Audience’ and ‘Los Angeles’ (directed by Adam Rapp) at the Flea Theater; and ‘Flies in the Snuffbox’ at the Abingdon Theater for the Midtown International Theater Festival. He has worked regionally at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and the Seattle Children’s Theater, and has written and performed two one-person shows, ‘October 10th’ and ‘The Way of the Word.’

He’s performed in commercials for Comcast (w/ SHAQ), Progresso, LendingTree, Netflix, AT&T, and many many more... He currently has some hilarious Toyota ads with Eli Manning running for all you folks in the NYC area.

Chance also moonlights as a singer/songwriter, and has written nearly 100 songs—and most of them are pretty good. He has composed for the stage numerous times, most notably for the Guthrie’s production of ‘Bring Love to my Doorstep.’
