The story of star's journey to turn into the sun.
(*This is the first time I've ever illustrated and animated anything in its entirety in Illustrator and After Effects on my own, so I apologize for the shotty animation and the poor illustrations...I'm still learning.)
Over 100 layers in AE, 10 hours of painstaking self-learning, rendering, exporting, 3 glasses of wine, impatience, 2 cups of coffee, and four puffy spicy Cheetos.
The final project of my postgraduate studies at the University of Kent, Canterbury. The end of an amazing year and (hopefully) the beginning of a career in the VFX industry. It was a group project and I worked on Texturing and Lighting. The 4 months that this project lasted were really rich in knowledge not only because of the time I had to experiment by combining various techniques, but also because I had to think as a member of a group and not as an individual.
