Whenever I performed the Liszt 1st piano concerto, this was always my favorite section because for me it was simply - beauty.
This is my interpretation of what this music does for me. Although Liszt was not an impressionist, my take here is very impressionistic.
Music: a portion of Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major by Franz Liszt recorded from a live performance given by me in 1988.
The slightly "wobbly" sound is due to the fact that it was recorded on audio tape. Yep kids, that's how we used to do it back then....

It started snowing here earlier which isn't all that common where my family lives in East Tennessee so, of course I grabbed my camera.
Nothing fancy here - short piece. I've been craving simplicity so that's the direction I took when editing this little thingy. While shooting and editing, the work of Maria Niro and Charlie McCarthy were a big influence.
