Here is an old test i did for G.I. Joe - Rise of Cobra in 2009 that was shown at Siggraph (otherwise i couldn't share it with you!). PrimeFocus handled the Nightraven jet dissolve by nanomites amoung other scenes. This is a close up of the nanomite motion in the wind (the jet is doing Mach3 at least :D ).
