This is the world premiere performed by the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra with the composer, Richard Chiarappa, conducting. The "triangulist" is Dr. James P. Rosen. The story: For years when Jim - a pediatric allergist and not a musician - was leaving our home he would always say "Let me know when you need a triangle player." When time away from teaching finally allowed, I wrote this for him. He practiced it for hours (really!) and played it exactly as written! It was great fun for all - orchestra and audience alike!
