Peter Becker has been mixing digital images live in real-time to music as a VJ since the 1990s.
A long-time researcher of electronic images, he teaches multimedia design at the Ludwig Maximillians University Munich (LMU) and since the 1980s could be found mixing images anywhere where someone pointed a projector at a white surface.

Peter Becker (aka VJ Autopilot) has worked with well known artists from Sven Väth to Andrew Fletcher (Depeche Mode), from DJ Hell to Peaches, Ellen Alien, Moonbootica etc. to create visual live-presentations of their music, and Companies like Lacoste, Strenesse, Marco Polo, Bacardi and modern Art Museums like Zentrum für Kunst- und Medientechnologie Karlsruhe (ZKM), the Pinakothek der Moderne Munich or the ZKMax Munich.

He actually teaches Multimediadesign at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and VJing at the University of Luxembourg. Together with students from the Institute for Art Education at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University he initiated various art projects such as LMUeMOTIONS or the Club-Tv of the famous Club Ultraschall and contributed recently for the LMU-Portal on iTunes U. Together with the the University of Luxembourg and the Rockhal-Venue he designed the Project multiSPACES.

Whether in Clubs or Museums, at the University or at Festivals, Peter Becker/VJ Autopilot's Projects and his Visuals combine Projections, Light and Music, Space and Audience into a State of the Art Multimedia Artwork.
