While making my way overland from Thailand to Cambodia, I spent the night in Trat. Trat's got a night market where they cook up some great food, so I took the 7D out for some more low light testing. I'm pleased with some of the results. Now I'm living in Cambodia, I hope to make some short videos about the street food here. There's some interesting stuff being eaten. Song: Intro by xX. This is a low light test of the Canon 7d we shot in about 30 minutes... just walked down the street at night and got a few different looks. No artificial lighting was used. I used one Nikon 50mm 1.4 and for the most part shutter speed was set at 100 at 1080/24p. All the slomo was shot at 60 frames and converted in cinema tools. Second video post shot with the EOS7D in very low light (that it to say quiet... "no" light !!!). Shot with Canon Lens 50mm|1.4 with a 3200 iso... Color corrections have also boost noise on it. I wanted this noisy and dirty effect. I have also made a few interior very low light shots, panning on a tripod what was really awesome, noise was fully controlled.
