Prague,
is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic.
Situated on the River Vltava in central Bohemia.
Prague is widely considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with preserved examples from all periods of its history and is among the most visited cities on the continent. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. According to Guinness World Records, Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world. Nicknames for Prague have included "the mother of cities" (Praga mater urbium, or "Praha matka měst" in Czech)", "city of a hundred spires" and "the golden city"


Praag wordt beschouwd als een van de mooiste steden van Europa en het historische centrum staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Het is dan ook de op vijf na meest toeristische stad van Europa. De Gouden Stad, zoals de bijnaam van Praag luidt, ligt aan de rivier de Moldau. Dit is een toeristide film over Praag en ons bezoek aan deze stad van de 1000 torens.

Een film gemaakt door De Kleine Videokring voor Rika een lid dat voor 6 maanden in Alaska aan het filmen is.

Sinds de hereniging van Oost- en West-Duitsland herleeft Berlijn in al zijn glorie. Er is in een razend tempo gewerkt aan het creëren van een nieuw stadshart, op de grens van oost en west. De Berlijnse Muur stond dwars over de Potsdamer Platz en dit grote plein was dan ook jarenlang een kale, kille vlakte. Na de val van de muur zijn aan het plein tal van gebouwen neergezet. Die opleving ziet u ook elders in de Duitse hoofdstad: collecties van musea werden samengevoegd en er kwamen nieuwe winkelcentra en uitgaansgelegenheden. Die ontwikkeling is nog niet ten einde.
