I don't have worked out plans for this channel yet, but my biggest joy from the web is international culture and interaction. I'm native born American, live in San Francisco, have done a good amount of "backpacker" style travel, and every time I come back, the less I feel any legitimate emotional ties to nationalism.

I'm native born American, live in San Francisco, have done a good amount of "backpacker" style travel, and every time I come back, the less I feel any legitimate emotional ties to nationalism. There's pride yes. It influenced me, yes. It still influences me, yes. I have gratitude for many things, yes. And an abundant degree of disgust as well for what is done in the name of my birth country.

Where I "net out" is that I'm a citizen of the world, and if I could, i'd spend the rest of my life traveling and experiencing the amazing diversity of people and incredible natural beauty in this world.

What any of this has to do with a content description of my channel I don't know yet. Doesn't that sound so Yoko, as in Oh No!

One thing I do know: I want to periodically examine the state of media and technology. I'm not so sure I believe this "social media" thing is truly working on a deep level. What do you think?
