This film is a little bit of an experiment - what would happen if I gave myself 1 week to film, $50 and made the very first thing that popped into my head, no matter how ridiculous the idea, trying to go with the flow, being productive rather than procrastinating, and not over thinking anything (having previously felt constrained through creating a poem in a very strict style, this was a way of trying to clear out the cobwebs).

The result is difficult to explain and quite stream of conscioussness like. It loosely represents how humans are tied to the mechanics of time. We can relive the past through memories, or imagine the future, but our physical bodies cannot stop being a part of the process of time, evolutionary time etc

Hi! I've had requests from people to visit the Sim where this movie was filmed, unfortunately it does not exist in virtual space - the sets were only set up to create this poem, then they were torn down again. Thanks.

This flyby tour of Pteron was more than just an excuse to show this amazing and surreal sim; it was actually my first attempt at piecing together my own music using Pro Scores.

As a result it's a little long and not the best editing, but hope to make some more videos with home grown soundtracks soon!

This film was made for the 48 Hour Film Project in machinima, november 2008. It won 3 awards, for:
*best audio
*best use of prop
*best edit
It was a challenge, and we made it (4 minutes before the deadline!!). Our goal was to make a good machinima and upload it within the given 48 hours. Did we succeed? We think so!
